NYC Has a New Fashion Law Program on Fifth Avenue

February 25, 2015 Racked NY - The booming field of fashion law just got a new major player: The Cardozo School of Law, located just south of Union Square, has launched the FAME Center for fashion, arts, media, and entertainment.
"In the era of social media and instant digital access, the FAME Center will train lawyers to guide clients through constantly evolving challenges in businesses driven by the creative process, whether that's fashion, music or film," Lee Sporn, senior VP of business affairs at Michael Kors and fashion law professor, told WWD.
Even if you're not planning to brave the LSAT anytime soon, the center will host a series called Fashion Law Talks, which kicks off March 3rd during a conversation called "Fashion Tech: More Tech or Fashion?" with Michael Kryzek, founder of Gilt Groupe, and continues in April with "The Wear of the Future: When Tech and Fashion Collide," and "Fashion Law, Religion, and Subversion."
